Territory data last updated .
Round Rock is the suburb that grew up around Dell Technologies. The company's headquarters has been here since the 1990s, and it turned a small town on I-35 into a city of about 120,000 people, according to the US Census Bureau. Round Rock now sits at the center of Williamson County's growth, between Austin to the south and Georgetown to the north, and it is a natural home for a tutoring franchise. Success Tutoring launched in the United States in Texas, and Round Rock is one of the strongest family markets in the Austin metro.
Round Rock ISD and its neighbors
Round Rock ISD is the city's main district, and it stretches well beyond Round Rock into north-west Austin, parts of Cedar Park and the Brushy Creek area. Its high schools include Round Rock, Westwood, McNeil, Stony Point and Cedar Ridge, plus Success High School.
Westwood High School, in the district's western half, has an International Baccalaureate program and is regularly listed among the top public high schools in Texas. Its reputation is one reason families pay a premium for homes in its attendance zone. Across the district, Round Rock ISD runs gifted and talented services, advanced academic pathways and a growing set of career programs.
Families on the edges of the city may be zoned to other districts:
- Hutto ISD to the east, where new subdivisions are filling quickly.
- Georgetown ISD to the north.
- Leander ISD and Pflugerville ISD around the western and southern edges.
All follow the Texas Education Agency's TEKS standards and STAAR testing, and a new state testing format is due to replace STAAR from 2027–28.
Why Round Rock families invest in tutoring
- Tech households. Dell, Apple's north Austin campus, and the many suppliers around the Samsung plant in nearby Taylor bring in engineers and professionals who expect strong math and science.
- Getting into the right track. Round Rock ISD students are grouped for advanced coursework from elementary school, and parents know that entry to accelerated math and, later, IB and AP courses depends on solid foundations.
- Competitive high schools. At schools like Westwood, class rank matters for automatic college admission in Texas, and families start planning early.
- Diverse, relocating families. Round Rock has large South Asian, East Asian and Hispanic communities, and many families arrive from other states or overseas.
Avery Ranch, Martin Hill, Siena and the Round Rock map
Success Tutoring's territories here are named for the areas at their core:
- Round Rock, the central territory around downtown, Old Settlers Park and the established neighborhoods on both sides of I-35.
- Avery Ranch, a large master-planned community in north-west Austin with golf, parks and strong demand for schooling, close to the Round Rock ISD and Leander ISD boundary.
- Martin Hill, another cluster of family neighborhoods within Round Rock's growth area; the live map shows its exact boundary.
- Siena, a master-planned community on Round Rock's east side, where new homes have kept coming online along the SH-130 and SH-45 corridor.
Round Rock's retail map offers plenty of options for site selection. Round Rock Premium Outlets, IKEA and La Frontera cluster around I-35 and SH-45, while neighborhood centers along University Boulevard, RM 620, Gattis School Road, Louis Henna Boulevard and Red Bud Lane sit close to elementary schools. The Kalahari Resort and the Dell Diamond, home of the Round Rock Express, draw families from across Central Texas. Master-planned communities such as Teravista, on the Georgetown side, and Paloma Lake continue to add households.

Running your Round Rock center
Round Rock partners lead a retail-style center where member families attend weekly English and math sessions, from kindergarten to grade 12. Head office support may cover site selection and lease negotiation, fit-out, tutor recruitment and training, and launch and marketing support for opening. The franchise agreement and disclosure documents set out what is included.
Possible sources of tutors include the local campuses of Texas State University and Austin Community College in Round Rock, and by the Texas A&M Health Science Center campus. You do not need a teaching background; partners lead the business and the team, supported by head office.
Frequently asked questions
Why consider Round Rock for a tutoring franchise?
It combines a large number of young families, a well-regarded school district with competitive advanced programs, and a steady stream of relocating tech and healthcare professionals.
Does the Avery Ranch territory sit in Round Rock ISD or Leander ISD?
Avery Ranch is near the boundary of both districts, so families there may attend either. Territories follow household catchments, and the table on this page lists the schools inside each one.
How might the end of STAAR affect demand in Round Rock?
From 2027–28, Texas plans to replace STAAR with three shorter tests across the year. More frequent results may keep parents more engaged, and weekly sessions focus on skills rather than a single test.
What franchise rules apply in Texas?
The FTC Franchise Rule requires the Franchise Disclosure Document at least 14 days before you sign or pay. Texas has no franchise registration requirement. Seek independent legal advice.
