Mary Rivers is the owner of Success Tutoring Howick, bringing over 25 years of education experience across New Zealand and internationally. Mary trained in New Zealand as a Primary teacher before moving into international teaching in 2015, following 16 years in NZ classrooms. Since then, she has served as a Pre-Primary and Primary Headteacher at schools in Malaysia, Brunei, and Malawi.

The international experience, combined with her deep knowledge of the NZ curriculum and a passion for raising achievement for all learners, is what drew her to Success Tutoring. Mary has two grown daughters and understands first-hand the concerns partners carry for their child's academic future, whether that's giving a young learner the best possible start in Primary, or supporting a teenager through the demanding High School years.
